Meetings, Runs, Rallies, Shows, Demo's and Gigs

This year we will be mostly attending or organizing parties, rallies or just plain social evenings with other MAG groups or Bike Clubs in the area! These are some of the (mostly local) events where you'll find us over the next few months. We always welcome invites to anything interesting or entertaining - mail Stacey, the web wench with the details!

Saturday 17th May 2008:    Chinnor Promotional Day 1
10am-4pm Frogmoor (outside The Chilterns Shopping Centre) High Wycombe, Bucks. A chance to come and meet us and buy some raffle tickets for Chinnor Bike Dayz XII, and maybe learn somemore about the Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance. We will also have membership forms so you can join.

Bank Holiday Sunday 25th May 2008:    Three Counties Charity Ride
Meet Midday at Reading Rugby Football Club, Sonning Lane, RG4 6ST For a minimum sponsorship or donation of £5 per bike. Join a 70 mile marshalled ride through the beautiful Bucks, Berks and Oxfordshire countryside, all within 5 minutes flying time of RAF Benson, the helicopter's base.

Friday 6th - 8th June 2008:    Born Free Rally
Reading MAG's, Gravely Bridge Farm, Grazely Green Road Grazely, Reading, RG7 1LG. Off M4 junction 11. Real ale bar, stalls, Bike show, Bands, rock disco and much more...... 500 Limit £15 Entry. Car parking £10 (Disabled except).

10am - 2pm Winslow Fire Station, High Street, Winslow, Bucks, MK18 3HD. Organised by Bucks Fire & Rescue Service. Free bike safety checks, Biker First Aid sessions and riding tips. Free refreshments!!!!

Saturday 12th July 2008:    Old Wolf Charity Bike and Car Show 2008
Midday - Midnight, The SADSAD Club, 225 - 227 Northern Road, Slough. It's here the 14th annual Old Wolf show hosted by Windsor & District MAG. In support of the Stoke Park Trust a registered charity (Home of Slough and District Sports Association for the Disabled). A Tribute to the late George Booker MBE Founding Chairman of Stoke Park Trust. Live bands, Cash prizes for Show Winners. Saturday 19th July 2008:    Bike Awareness Day 2008
Kingsbury Square in Aylesbury. 10am - 3pm. See the bikes, meet the Reps and find out which meetings are closer to you.

Sunday 20th July 2008:    Biker Drop-in

Sunday 10th August 2008:    Help for Heroes
1pm Hobbs Boat Yard, Station Road, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 1AZ. Organised by The Thames Vale Vultures. 1pm (boat Cruise from 2pm - 6pm). On the largest and most luxurious passenger vessel on the upper Thames. The New Orleans revives the stylish tradition of a Mississippi sternwheeler with tall twin smoke stacks and a paddle wheel. The New Orleans has two decks, a fully enclosed elegant saloon with stylish cocktail bar. Help For Heroes is a charity which supports members of the Armed Forces who have served in conflicts around the world. It is non political and does not comment on the rights and wrongs of going to war, it purely supports those who have been sent. Tickets £7.50 including Buffet. Sunday 17th August 2008:    Unity Ride III
An invitation to attend the largest Charity Motorcycle ride in the Capital. Unity Ride is a Charity event that celebrates all types of motorbiking this year in support of ‘Children in Need’ and SERV (The NHS blood supply charity manned by volunteer motorcyclists). Ride-in's to Excel have been arranged, and will be led from the following places: Box Hill, The Ace Cafe, High Beech Tea Hut, The South West, The Oakdene Cafe.
